Firsty, welcome to two-minute ramble, a small project I have been working on over the past few weeks. What exactly is it? Well it's a blog... of sorts. Over the past few months I have been trying to reskill myself in front-end web development, and my very limited code experience has led me to learning to use some new tools and systems. To put these into practice I thought I would build a live project that I could use to practice content management systems, responsive and accessible layout, and general SEO stuff. Which is what this is, a platform for me to post content centered around the things I enjoy while trying out new things I learn along the way.
So it's a blog featuring content built around the things I find interesting, built with systems I am learning.
A second objective would be to create content visitors could enjoy over a quick cup of coffee in the morning. Like a quick almost-daily quest in WOW, these are two minute interactions that could be a small article or a video I felt needed to be shared. I also hope to keep the content up-beat, focusing on the positive aspects of my interests. I'll honestly try my best to make sure grammar and spelling are as best as they can be, but English was never my strongest subject.
I've create an about me page which you can read here, but to give you the quick summary; I am an 80s kid with an obsessive love of videogames, who enjoys most sci-fi and fantasy shows / movies. I used to work in the retail sector where I co-owned a videogame and pop-culture store, but now work as a freelance web and graphic designer. I am primarily a console gamer and really enjoy single-player narrative based experiences so don't be surprised if a lot of the content posted on the site relates back to these.
While I work on building the means to allow for comments on posts, why not interact with me on my social platforms.
