With the State of Play showcase I was hoping to get some details regarding the upcoming Alan Wake II Lake House DLC, of which I was not disappointed as a new trailer was shown, but the bigger surprise was the announcement of Ghost of Yōtei - the latest game from Sucker Punch and the introduction the new hero, Atsu.
Set more than 300 years after the events of Ghost of Tsushima, Ghost of Yōtei a new protagonist, a new story to unfold, and a new region of Japan to explore. While no exact release date was given we can expect this new title sometime in 2025. I've included some screenshots and the trailer below.
Other cool announcements include Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered which releases October 31st, and updates around the pre-order content for LEGO Horizon Adventures which launches November 14th. There were also trailers for Dragon Age: The Veilguard and Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver 1 & 2 Remastered, The Midnight Walk and a couple other really interesting titles, of which you can find out more on the PlayStation.Blog website.
