A new Assassin’s Creed title has just launched so it’s time for some new screenshots from the world of Assassin's Creed Mirage.

While assassinating key targets is a core gameplay mechanic of the Assassin’s Creed series – the franchise name is a clue to that – exploration of locations throughout history is another that provides players with varied settings to thin the ranks of the Templar Order. Assassin's Creed Mirage takes place in 9th-century Baghdad and follows the transition of Basim from a simple thief to a member of the Assassin Brotherhood. This Golden Age of Baghdad as represented in-game has some great visuals and I have hopefully managed to capture some the beauty with these screenshots.
