The new game for 11 bit studios, the creators of This War of Mine, have recently released a gameplay trailer for their upcoming title The Alters, a game that blends adventure, survival, and base-building elements. In The Alters players take on the role as Jan Dolski, a simple worker who creates alternative versions of himself in an attempt to escape the deadly rays of a hostile planets rising sun. Each alternate will have their own personality and choices made will affect relationships with these various personas as well as the odds of survival through skills they can provide in the moving base. The concept looks really interesting, and I can’t wait to give this a play when it launches sometime this year. Check out the gameplay trailer for yourself below:
