If you know me, you know I love Twin Peaks, and if you don’t know me well now you know I love Twin Peaks. The 90s television series quickly became a cult classic, being referenced in a multitude of other TV shows and video games including Scooby-Doo, Gravity Falls and Mass Effect to name a few. The soundtrack is instantly recognizable, with it’s haunting themes and dream-like atmosphere, and hearing The Danish National Symphony Orchestra perform a selection of music from the series is a treat.
As with Video Games Live and other or such concerts, hearing pieces of music from other media sources performed by an orchestra is amazing and often find their way onto repeat in my Spotify library. Check out the Twin Peaks selection performed by DR SymfoniOrkestret below:
