The animated sci-fi sitcom Futurama from Matt Groening has had an interesting history when considering the shows cancellations, syndications, and revivals. Initially airing the Fox network, the then cancelled show found its way to the [adult swim] programming block of Cartoon Network for syndication before getting a revival on Comedy Central. Cancelled again, the show was again picked up for syndication but now by Syfy only to make a return to [adult swim] for reruns – but thankfully will get a new season on Hulu this July. What a journey for this award-winning series.
