Back in 2022 LEGO released an awesome 1222-piece set under their ICONS range, the Tallneck from Horizon Forbidden West.

The Tallneck from the Horizon series is an iconic machine in the games. This huge solitary creature has a giraffe-like silhouette and is used by players to provide reconnaissance of the immediate in-game area. When LEGO released the Tallneck as a part of the ICONS range, I had to have it.

This set is a perfect match for gamers and LEGO fans.

A joy to build, the 1222-piece set used some cool techniques to create the machine along with a display themed around the post-apocalyptic world, and includes a special Aloy mini-fig. Each element of the unique creature design is represented in some way, from the large disc-shaped head to the antennae cover the long neck.

The display also provides a solid support, as at no point did it feel like the Tallneck could collapse while set in place. This set is a perfect match for gamers and LEGO fans.

In Summary.
The Positives.
The Negatives.
